- Road test vehicle. No active Check Engine light noted and no driveability or engine performance concerns noted. Connect diagnostic unit and perform fault scan. Engine control module 1 reports sporadic faults P125B00 steam bubbles or air detected in low pressure fuel circuit and P304300 low pressure fuel pump mechanical malfunction. System currently passes all self-tests. Found no TSBs related to concern or faults. Based on client description of fault and symptoms; suspect the low pressure fuel pump/fuel transfer pump and/or fuel pump control unit is intermittently failing and causing a low fuel pressure concern but cannot accurately detemine if this is the root cause at this time.
