Services Performed
- No punctures noted in left front tire. Left front tire does has severe dry rot cracking on the shoulders and inside the groove of the tread. Suspect this is causing the slow air leak. Recommend replacing the tires.
- Connect diagnostic unit and perform short test. Instrument cluster reports a 9112 fuel level sensor circuit. Remove front trunk trim and fuel pump unit cover. Found rodent damage to the fuel pump wires and both fuel level sender wires chewed through completely. Advise repairing wires and re-evaluating. Repaired repair both fuel level sender wires, fuel pump power, and fuel pump ground wires; advise replacing wires with new terminated leads to ensure highest quality repair. Clear faults. Fuel gauge now operates as designed.
- Changed engine oil and engine oil filter. Reset oil service reminder. Replace oil service decal. Fill and verify engine oil level.
